Wedding Vows
If you are intending to write your own vows for your wedding ceremony, or are renewing your wedding vows, but are unsure about how to start, our personalised vow writing service will be able to help. We work closely with you to create a unique ceremony that is the ideal expression of all that you want to say because all of our vows are written from scratch entirely for you, and we don't use any templates.
We can conduct vow writing consultations in person or via Skype, if you are outside of Adelaide.
First consultation
Our first meeting gives us a chance to get to know each other. We meet with you to learn about you, your partner and your relationship, and the sentiments and feelings that you would like to express. We talk through the various styles of wedding vows that you might want to consider, working to create a ceremony that suits your location. The next step is then to begin putting together a plan for your first draft.
First Draft
After our first consultation, we will prepare a first draft of your personalised vows and email it to you for you to read and consider. This gives you a chance to have a look at what we have written and to make any suggestions for alterations or additions. You then email any changes back to us and we incorporate them into your vows.
Final Draft
After you have given us your changes and suggestions, we incorporate these into your vows and then email a final draft back to you for your approval.
Second Consultation (optional)
At this meeting, we read through and rehearse your vows with you, advising you on the most effective way to recite your vows so that when you speak you are able to encapsulate the emotions and feelings that your words express, but in such a way as to maintain a clear and effective speaking style. Our aim at this consultation is to ensure that on your big day you feel well-prepared and relaxed so that you will be able to speak your most heartfelt of words with confidence and pleasure.
